Join Symbos as a Payroll Officer and play a key role in ensuring our people are paid accurately and on time. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you'll support payroll operations across Australia while contributing to compliance, reporting, system integrity and continuous improvement initiatives. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative payroll team within a growing international business and build capability across a complex, multi-jurisdiction environment.

What You'll Be Doing;

  • Deliver accurate, compliant payroll outcomes across a growing workforce
  • Maintain strong payroll controls, governance and data integrity
  • Support payroll compliance, statutory obligations and reporting requirements
  • Build trusted relationships across Finance, People & Culture and leaders
  • Contribute to payroll process improvements, automation and efficiency
  • Resolve payroll enquiries with professionalism, accuracy and responsiveness
  • Support reconciliations, reporting and audit readiness activities

What You'll Bring;

  • End-to-end Australian payroll experience within a complex environment
  • Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, awards and statutory obligations
  • Experience with payroll systems, HRIS platforms and reporting
  • High attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality standards
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication capabilities
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
