We’re now seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join our team and help us shape the future of connected experiences.

As a Senior .NET Developer at Symbos, you’ll work alongside passionate professionals to design and build secure, scalable, and data-driven applications using the latest in .NET, Angular, AI and cloud technologies. You’ll play a key role in delivering solutions that are reliable, secure, and aligned to real business needs.

In this role, you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable web applications and APIs using .NET Core
• Build and optimise data access layers using Entity Framework and advanced SQL techniques
• Write and tune high-performance SQL queries and stored procedures across transactional and analytical workloads
• Work on Angular-based front-end components and integrate them with backend APIs
• Ensure data integrity, system reliability, and secure handling of sensitive information
• Apply security best practices, including authentication, authorisation, and encryption
• Collaborate with DevOps and security teams to maintain secure CI/CD pipelines and deployments
• Conduct code reviews, write unit and integration tests, and maintain high code quality standards
• Monitor and optimise database performance, including indexing and query tuning
• Integrate or support AI/ML-driven features and modern data-driven solutions
• Work within Agile teams, contributing to sprints, estimations, and retrospectives

To thrive at Symbos, you’ll bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in IT or a related field
• At least 5+ years of experience in .NET Core development
• Strong expertise in C#, ASP.NET Core, RESTful APIs, Entity Framework, and SQL Server
• Proven experience working with complex databases, including performance tuning and query optimisation
• Solid understanding of application security practices, including authentication, authorisation, and encryption
• Experience with Angular (or similar modern front-end frameworks) and integrating front-end with backend APIs
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, and Agile/Scrum environments
• Exposure to AI APIs or machine learning integration is advantageous
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to building secure, maintainable systems
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams
