Our client is a growing digital marketing agency and consultancy working with brands across strategy, website experience, content, paid channels, social media, and marketing automation. The team partners with clients on projects designed to improve engagement, generate leads, and support measurable business growth.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a Strategic Account Manager to take ownership of client relationships, project communication, and campaign delivery for a confidential digital marketing agency and consultancy.
In this full-time role, you will work closely with clients and internal teams to shape effective, performance-driven marketing strategies that support brand visibility, engagement, lead generation, and return on investment.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage, build, and maintain strong client relationships grounded in professionalism, trust, and proactive support.
- Act as the key contact between clients and internal agency stakeholders.
- Develop a clear understanding of each client’s business, goals, market, competitors, and marketing challenges.
- Support the development and delivery of performance-focused digital marketing strategies.
- Coordinate onboarding, kick-off sessions, recurring client meetings, project updates, and milestone communications.
- Prepare clear, detailed production briefs with support from the Account Coordinator.
- Work closely with strategists and production teams to keep campaigns, projects, timelines, and deliverables on track.
- Review client-ready assets for quality before they are shared.
- Identify up-sell and cross-sell opportunities that address genuine client needs.
- Contribute to strategic workshops, proposal development, project scoping, compelling pitches, KPI setting, ROI reporting, and performance analysis.
- Oversee project schedules, milestones, budgets, and project team resources.
What We’re Looking For
- At least two years of experience in marketing management, account management, project management, or a similar client-facing role.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and the inbound methodology.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts at once, including both retainer and project clients.
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management, project management, and prioritisation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and confidence reviewing client-ready work for quality.
- Budget management capability and a commercial mindset.
- Basic understanding of website design, usability concepts, and the language used in digital project delivery.
- Confidence using Google Suite, project management software such as Asana, collaboration tools such as Slack, and HubSpot or similar marketing automation platforms.
Nice to Have
- Experience in an agency, consultancy, B2B marketing, SaaS, technology, or professional services environment.
- Exposure to HubSpot, marketing automation, inbound marketing, or conversational marketing platforms.
- Experience supporting website, UX, brand, content, paid media, social, or lead generation projects.
- Confidence contributing to proposals, project scoping, pitches, or strategic workshops.
- Experience working with retainers, project-based clients, budgets, milestones, and resourcing plans.
