About the role

We are looking for an Accountant with hands-on experience supporting Australian businesses. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and day-to-day accounting operations.

You’ll be part of a collaborative team with exposure to end-to-end accounting functions and AU regulatory requirements.

What you’ll be responsible for

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable and receivable
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare BAS, GST, and other AU compliance requirements
• Assist with payroll processing and reporting where applicable
• Liaise with internal teams and clients to resolve financial queries
• Ensure data accuracy and compliance with Australian accounting standards

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience supporting Australian clients
• Strong working knowledge of AU tax and compliance requirements, including BAS and GST
• Experience with any of the following platforms:
  • Xero
  • MYOB
  • QuickBooks Online (AU)
• Solid understanding of end-to-end accounting processes
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
