With offices in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and having established RCL Services as its subsidiary in Fiji, we now have an exciting opportunity for an Contact Centre Agent - Sales to join our Operations Department.
About the role
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound and/or inbound sales activities to acquire new residential and business customers.
- Promote electricity, gas, solar, and other energy-related products and services.
- Explain product features, pricing plans, benefits, and terms and conditions clearly and accurately.
- Convert sales opportunities into confirmed customer acquisitions.
- Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets, KPIs, and quality standards.
- Build rapport and maintain positive relationships with prospective customers.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate energy solutions.
- Handle customer objections professionally and effectively.
- Provide accurate information regarding energy plans, billing, and service options.
- Ensure a positive and professional customer experience throughout the sales process.
- Adhere to Australian energy industry regulations, privacy requirements, and company policies.
- Ensure all sales are conducted ethically and with customer consent.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales outcomes.
- Complete all required compliance scripts and disclosures during customer engagements
- Participate in quality assurance reviews and coaching sessions
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and follow-up requirements.
- Attend team meetings, training sessions, and coaching activities.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.
- Previous experience in sales, telesales, customer service, or contact centre environments.
- Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
- Ability to build rapport and influence customer decisions.
- Results-driven with a strong customer focus.
- Intermediate computer skills and experience using CRM systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.
- Experience in the Australian energy industry (Added Advantage)
- Experience in outbound sales campaigns. (Added Advantage)
- Knowledge of Australian electricity and gas markets.
- Experience working within a BPO or offshore service delivery environment
