Growth Marketing Engineer (Performance Marketing Lead)

We’re looking for a Growth Marketing Engineer to design, build and scale a high‑impact, data‑driven growth engine from the ground up.
This role suits someone who enjoys end‑to‑end ownership of growth, combining strategy, technical execution and continuous experimentation across acquisition, analytics, SEO, lifecycle and conversion optimisation. What you’ll be responsible for:
Build rock-solid analytics & attribution
- Own end-to-end tracking and attribution across GA4, GTM, pixels, UTMs and conversion events
- Design and implement a clean event schema aligned to the full funnel
- Configure and validate conversions across paid and owned channels
- Build clear, reliable dashboards and reporting (Looker Studio, GA4, platform data)
- Ensure tracking is documented, tested and trusted
- Drive paid acquisition (Google Search is the priority)
Build and optimise Google Search campaigns end to end
- Develop keyword strategies, campaign structures, ad copy and extensions
- Manage bids, budgets, search terms and conversion optimisation
- Launch and optimise LinkedIn and Meta campaigns where relevant
- Run structured experiments and document learnings
- Execute SEO for sustainable growth
Own technical SEO fundamentals via Google Search Console
- Improve site structure, internal linking and on-page optimisation
- Develop keyword-driven content briefs and publishing workflows
- Align SEO insights with paid search to improve efficiency across channels
- Build lifecycle, outbound and email systems
Create B2B onboarding, nurture, reactivation and retargeting flows
- Draft and deploy plain text and HTML email sequences
- Manage deliverability basics (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, hygiene and warm-up)
- Implement event-triggered journeys based on real user behaviour
Optimise funnels and conversion
- Own landing page performance and CRO
- Design and run A/B tests, iterate copy and CTAs, remove friction
- Use behavioural insights (heatmaps, sessions) to inform decisions
- Work comfortably in a modern web environment (e.g. Next.js workflows)
Interim social distribution ownership
- Manage posting, scheduling and performance tracking until a dedicated hire is made
- Focus on reach, engagement and assisted conversions using provided creative assets
What success looks like in this role
- Clean, reliable attribution and reporting that informs decisions
- Consistent, measurable lead flow from paid search
- Improving conversion rates across landing pages and funnels
- Repeatable lifecycle systems that lift activation and close rates
- Clear weekly reporting that links actions to outcomes
What we’re looking for
- Proven hands-on experience in B2B SaaS growth
- Strong technical capability with GA4, GTM, events and tracking
- Deep experience with Google Ads, particularly Search
- Solid understanding of SEO, lifecycle marketing and CRO
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with product and founders
- Confident building growth systems from the ground up
