Our client is a leading Australian industrial and engineering group operating a diverse portfolio of businesses across hydraulics, fluid power, pumps, engines, surface engineering and specialist technical services. With a national footprint and a strong reputation in the industrial sector, the organisation supports major clients across mining, energy, infrastructure, manufacturing, agriculture and defence. 

The business is investing in digital transformation and brand development, creating an opportunity for a talented designer to help elevate customer experiences across multiple digital and print channels. 

The Opportunity

We are looking for a highly capable Senior Designer who thrives across digital, UX, brand and print design. This is an opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of brands while helping transform websites from traditional brochure-style experiences into modern, conversion-focused digital platforms. 

You will partner closely with the Head of Marketing, Senior Web Developer and wider marketing team to create engaging customer experiences, build scalable design systems and elevate brand consistency across a growing portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Design UX flows, wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity UI for website transformation projects. 

• Create landing pages, lead generation experiences and conversion-focused digital journeys across WordPress, Shopify and HubSpot CMS platforms. 

• Establish and maintain scalable design systems, component libraries and brand guidelines in Figma. 

• Develop customer journey maps and experience design outputs that support conversion optimisation initiatives. 

• Produce professional print collateral including brochures, capability statements, data sheets and technical sales materials. 

• Design campaign creative, eDM templates, digital assets and social media content. 

• Create SharePoint intranet pages and internal communication assets. 

• Apply accessibility and SEO best practices across all digital design work. 

• Collaborate with stakeholders, marketers, developers and content contributors to deliver high-quality outcomes. 

• Identify opportunities to improve user experience, visual consistency and brand performance across the portfolio. 

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional design experience with exposure to senior-level responsibilities. 

 

• Advanced Figma skills including prototyping, auto-layout, components and design systems. 

• Strong Adobe Creative Suite capability, particularly InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. 

• Demonstrated experience in UX/UI design, responsive websites and digital customer journeys. 

• Experience creating conversion-focused landing pages and lead generation experiences. 

• Strong print production knowledge including CMYK, bleed setup and pre-press preparation. 

• Experience working with WordPress, Elementor, Shopify and/or HubSpot. 

• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while working independently. 

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. 

Nice to Have

• Industrial, engineering or technical B2B marketing experience. 

 

• Basic HTML/CSS knowledge. 

• Motion graphics or animation skills. 

• Video editing capability. 

• Experience with AI-assisted design tools such as Adobe Firefly. 

• Multi-brand portfolio experience. 

• Exposure to CRO, user testing or A/B testing programs.
