The Opportunity
We are partnering with our client to hire a Business Insights Analyst to support teams in understanding performance, identifying issues, and uncovering opportunities through data.
This role is centred on problem solving and insight generation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to investigate questions, analyse trends, and provide clear, actionable answers that support decision-making.
You will operate as a key partner to the business, translating data into meaningful insights while ensuring outputs are clear, relevant, and aligned to stakeholder needs.

Key Responsibilities
Problem Solving and Ad Hoc Analysis
- Work with stakeholders to investigate business questions and challenges
- Analyse data to identify trends, patterns, and root causes
- Provide clear and structured responses to ad hoc queries
- Translate business questions into analytical approaches
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with teams such as Marketing, Operations, and Customer Experience
- Support analysis across areas including demographics, segmentation, and performance
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand context and refine requirements
- Ensure insights are relevant and aligned to business needs
Insights and Analysis
- Conduct analysis across key areas such as churn, performance trends, and operational metrics
- Identify opportunities for improvement or optimisation
- Support development of dashboards where needed to enhance visibility
- Ensure data used for analysis is accurate and consistent
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
- Present findings in a clear and practical way to stakeholders
- Translate data into actionable insights and recommendations
- Support stakeholders in understanding what the data means and what actions to take
- Build strong working relationships across teams
Continuous Improvement
- Identify gaps in data, reporting, and analysis processes
- Recommend improvements to how insights are generated and communicated
- Contribute to strengthening data practices and consistency across teams
What We’re Looking For
Core Requirements
- Experience in an Insights Analyst, Business Analyst, or Data Analyst role
- Strong capability in SQL, Excel, and Power BI (or similar tools)
- Proven experience analysing data to solve business problems and identify trends
- Ability to work with stakeholders and translate requirements into insights
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain data clearly
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and structured thinking
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
Nice to Have
- Exposure to customer or marketing analytics (e.g. segmentation, demographics)
- Experience working with operational or performance data
- Familiarity with churn analysis or trend analysis
- Basic experience with Python or other analytical tools
- Strong data visualisation and storytelling capability
