What’s in it for you;

  • Vibrant Workplace: Be part of a fun, supportive, and inclusive team environment where culture matters.
  • Flexibility That Works for You: Access to hybrid work arrangements after the initial training period, supporting a balance of time in the office and time working from home.
  • Wellbeing First: Enjoy perks like novated leasing, employee discounts, health and wellness initiatives, 24/7 EAP support, and discounted health insurance.
  • Recharge & Celebrate: Take an annual “Unplugged Day” to reset, and swap cultural holidays to celebrate the days that mean the most to you.
  • Career Builder: Unlock opportunities to progress into support, leadership, or other roles that align with your career goals.
As a Customer Support Officer, you will be responsible for managing insurance enquiries relating to uninsured motor vehicle claims. You'll investigate customer disputes, assess available information, and provide clear, compliant outcomes through both written and verbal communication. Working in a fast-paced environment, you'll balance customer service, investigation, negotiation, and problem-solving to help deliver fair and timely resolutions.

What You'll Be Doing;
  • Enquiries Inbox Manager: Manage a portfolio of insurance enquiries, taking ownership of cases from receipt through to resolution while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  • Investigate with Purpose: Review information, assess liability disputes, and gather the details needed to progress enquiries and support accurate outcomes.
  • Turn Complexity into Clarity: Prepare structured email responses and speak with customers over the phone to explain decisions, next steps, and payment options in a way that is easy to understand.
  • Quality & Compliance Driven: Maintain accurate customer records and ensure all interactions, decisions, and outcomes align with business processes, risk requirements, and quality standards.
  • Drive Positive Outcomes: Use your negotiation and problem-solving skills to resolve disputes, close enquiries, and support customers through complex situations.

What You'll Bring;

  • Insurance or Claims Experience: Experience in motor insurance, claims, dispute resolution, uninsured recoveries, or a similar environment will be highly regarded, particularly if you've managed complex enquiries and worked towards fair and compliant customer outcomes.
  • Investigation & Problem-Solving Skills: You enjoy analysing information, identifying key facts, and working through complex enquiries to achieve fair and accurate outcomes.
  • Strong Communication Skills: You can communicate clearly and professionally, tailoring your responses so customers can easily understand decisions, processes, and next steps.
  • Negotiation & Influencing Ability: You're confident managing disputes, handling objections, and working towards positive resolutions in challenging situations.
  • Attention to Detail: You take pride in producing accurate work, maintaining quality records, and ensuring compliance requirements are met.
  • Customer Focus: You approach customer interactions with professionalism, empathy, and a genuine desire to help achieve the best possible outcome.
  • Resilience & Adaptability: You thrive in a fast-paced environment, confidently managing competing priorities while maintaining high standards of service.

At Recoveriescorp, we focus on the skills you bring, not just your resume. If you have experience in motor insurance, claims, dispute resolution, uninsured recoveries or a similar environment, we want to understand how you apply those skills in real-world scenarios.

As part of our process, you will complete an interactive skills assessment through Vervoe. This is your opportunity to experience real job-related tasks and showcase your strengths beyond your resume.

Keep an eye on your email including your junk folder, so you do not miss out on the chance to join our team.

Why You'll Love This Role;

  • Less Call Centre, More Case Management: Spend most of your day investigating enquiries, resolving disputes, and communicating with customers via email, with only a small portion of your role dedicated to phone interactions.
  • Put Your Insurance Expertise to Work: Apply your experience in claims, disputes, liability assessments to investigate enquiries, influence outcomes, and deliver fair resolutions.
  • Own Your Work: Take ownership of enquiries from investigation through to resolution, allowing you to make a genuine difference while applying your professional judgement and problem-solving expertise.
  • Make a Real Impact: Help customers navigate insurance enquiries while delivering clear, fair, and compliant outcomes.
  • Do Meaningful Work, the Right Way: Be part of a team that values customer care, compliance, quality, and doing what's right for both customers and clients.
