As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you’ll strengthen Symbos’ governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) capabilities. You’ll monitor risks, support audits, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards while staying ahead of emerging threats.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments and support internal/external audits.
• Monitor compliance with cybersecurity frameworks and privacy laws.
• Analyse data and generate dashboards/reports using tools like Excel or Power BI.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks.
• Maintain documentation and assist with vulnerability management.

Essential Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field.
• 2–5 years’ experience in GRC, risk management, or compliance.
• Familiarity with GRC tools (OneTrust, Vanta, Drata).
• Knowledge of frameworks: ISO 27001, NIST CSF, SOC 2.
• Certifications such as CISA, CRISC, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer are a plus.

Technical Skills

• SIEM, DLP, IAM, vulnerability management tools.
• Understanding of privacy frameworks (Privacy Act 1988, GDPR).
• Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., JIRA).
