About the Client
Our client is an Australian provider of outside school hours care, supporting children and families through before-school, after-school and school holiday programs. Their educators create safe, engaging environments where children can explore, build confidence and take part in meaningful activities.
The Opportunity
As an Operations Support Associate, you will be a key support contact for staff, managers and suppliers. You will handle calls and emails, follow up booking requests, help coordinate suppliers and resources, and keep tasks moving smoothly.
What Sets This Role Apart
This role gives you variety across supplier bookings and resource support. You will help solve practical issues quickly, keep information accurate and provide clear updates during busy periods.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to calls and emails from staff, managers and suppliers.
- Make follow-up calls to new and existing suppliers.
- Help research and contact transport, excursion and incursion providers.
- Send booking requests, follow up confirmations and update supplier attendance.
- Collect and upload required documents, risk assessments and supplier information.
- Track and order resources such as food delivery, stationery, first aid items, furniture, equipment, arts and crafts, and sports supplies.
- Support cancellations, combinations, transport updates, programming changes and other urgent day-to-day requests.
- Work with the team to resolve on-the-day issues and complete ad hoc tasks.
What We’re Looking For
- 1 to 2 years’ experience in inbound or outbound customer service, administration, supplier coordination or a similar support role.
- Clear English communication skills for phone and email conversations.
- Strong attention to detail and good organisation.
- Comfortable managing follow-ups, trackers and multiple priorities.
- Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Able to work professionally with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Can work with minimal supervision and meet quality and productivity targets.
Nice to Have
- Experience coordinating suppliers, bookings, resources or logistics.
- Experience working with remote teams or supporting operations across different locations.
- Familiarity with Excel functions such as PivotTables, VLOOKUP and IFERROR.
